Day 1 : Blois - Chambord - Cheverny

  • 43 km
Take your bikes at our shop in Blois and ride until you reach your first stop: Chambord castle. Visit this Renaissance architecture jewel. Then, go through Sologne region until you arrive in Cheverny where your hotel is located.

Day 2 : Cheverny - Chaumont-sur-Loire

  • 31 km
Take the cycle path to Chaumont-sur-Loire castle. You will need at least 3 hours to visit the whole site, widely known for its International garden festival. Each year a new theme is given and artists deliver a creation according to it. Take a walk to its park where pieces of contemporary art are on exhibit. the castle courtyard has a stunning view on the Loire river.

Day 3 : Chaumont-sur-Loire - Chenonceaux - Amboise

  • 55 km
Today, take the cycle path to the most beautiful castle of the Loire Valley: Chenonceau. Visit this extraordinary monument defined by an almost uninterrupted succession of women who built, embellished, protected, restored and saved it. Its gardens are also a must-see. Keep going on until you reach Amboise where you will spend the third night of your trip.

Day 4 : Amboise - Tours

  • 28 km
Start the day by visiting Amboise castle and its rich history. Take also a walk in the old streets of this charming city. Then, take your bike to discover the vineyards between Amboise and Tours, your destination. Feel free to make a stop at La Cave des Producteurs in Montlouis-sur-Loire to taste their wines.

Following the cycle paths between Blois & Tours, discover the most marvellous castles: Chambord and its famous staircase, Chaumont-sur-Loire and its stunning international garden festival, Chenonceau and its incredible architecture and Amboise and its rich history.
 
How to arrive in Blois?

By train : Blois-Chambord Station. Our shop is at a 5 min. walk from the station.

By car: Highway A10, Blois/Vendôme exit

 
How to get back to Blois from Tours ?
By train - from Tours Station to Blois-Chambord station: about 40 min / 15 trains per day
We do not sell train tickets. Please contact SNCF for more information.

More information:
Our hotels are accreditated Accueil Vélo (Cyclist welcome): they all have a secure bikes room to store yours during the night.
You will receive all your travel documents through an app to download on your mobile phone. It will contain every day itineraries and your e-tickets for the castles as included in your journey. 
On the first day, you must arrive before 9:30am. If you plan to arrive later, please contact us.
On the last day, your luggage will be delivered for 5:30pm.
